So,uhm...

I've been having a conversation with @troisnyx about torrenting (plz don't ban me cuz i really have to say what i'm thinking) and, well,he told me a lesson ; he made me feel ashamed of what i was doing (of course the thread was deleted). And since then i've been thinking plans, projects, stuff to get legal money and buy legal products, not cracking and use somebody's work for my commercial uses.

But then,i realized that i was having a big problem: I'm not old enough to make purchases online ;cuz i had to be 18 to make a credit card myself.I made a PayPal account too,and again i needed a credit/debit card to verify to account. And so,i've been browsing the web for free plugins and samples (and of course there's millions of them :3);but still,my Fl Studio is cracked, and i got so familiar with it that i can't use another freeware DAW now.

I could sell music, albums and even do a fundraise, for just 299$ for the signature bundle, but i can't FKING RECIEVE THE MONEY!!!

So i'm looking for advices, and anyone who's reading this pls try your best to get your products legitimately, for your own conscience.

Again,thanks @troisnyx for the lesson.

If you don't have a job, you can torrent. No shame in that.
However, if you see a game or song you really like from a growing artist, consider sending some dollars their way. There are youth packages in banks that allow underage people to open cash accounts to buy stuff online with low fees.

Hey,sorry for late reply :)
Well actually i've been torrenting long since i got a computer to download games and stuff. At first it was fun,but after that i just feel weird somehow.
The same with music stuff;i can't bear the feeling when i torrent something and use them for commercial purposes (again, thanks to Triosnyx for what SHE said to me xD).So yeah,no more illegal activities(except for IL's Fruity Loops studio which i cant buy now)
Also, apart from age restriction there is also geographic restrictions, and there's progressing fees and stuff...It's just too complicated for me and my parents dont have time.
Thanks for commenting anyway :)))

I am a 'she'. ^_- Note for future reference.
And when torrenting was not an issue for me in the past, it's become even more of an issue because I am well-read in law, and the last thing I could do is torrent stuff because that would go against what I stand for and what I've been qualified in.

The way I see it, Image-Line have been offering many perks for anyone who purchases the software -- in a way, FL is the software that keeps on giving once you've bought *a* licence. Lifetime free upgrades are pretty much why most people use it.

While I do wish for a society where money is no longer an issue nor a thing of concern when it comes to software, and everything can be shared freely, we haven't gotten there yet. If I purchase legit, I want to be able to help the more ethical developers do their thing. Granted, FL's ethics record isn't 100% the best, but it is certainly getting there. At least 'lifetime free upgrades' means that they're serious about wanting to provide.

Sorry,didn't see that coming ;)
So yeah,i've been thinking exactly like that, except for the part when you wish for a society where everything can be shared freely;because that'll make people go even madder than they are now (because it's like they can do everything with everything they got from other people).
But i do have a wish that companies like Image Line can do frequent giveaways to poor yet passionate people;and you can just shoot an email to them, explaining your passion with music and they'll give you for free xD And big names like Waterflame,F-777 or the awesome guys at Spinnin' Records; they can do tutorials and private teaching for growing artist (which some of them are already doing now). That way, everyone gets to do what they love; some with their money, some with the support from the big dudes.
Anyway i really appreciate your comment!

Research when you can get a debit card, your in Vietnam so idk when you can get one, I think in the UK it's 11 so maybe it'll be around that age in Vietnam, but then again they are not similar countries so I really don't know, still I don't think it will much past the age of 11 or 12

Dude i'm 13;i can get one but the name registered must be my parents' name. But ok,i'll try to convince them xD

I know your pain. I don't torrent because I'm against it, but I have almost zero allowance (it was a miracle my parents bought me the home studio version of Mixcraft), and the free plugins can only be so high quality. This is why my songs don't sound as high quality as, say, EnV or F-777. Gah.

Dude u got the home version of Mixcraft? Cool!
Well yeah, you got me.We all know the feeling(till we're old enough to do these things ourself)
Btw can you name some high-quality free plugins that you have?
